Marianne-I can smell them from Michigan!
Pretty! Are they crepe myrtles? Not sure how much I butchered the spelling on that one!
Marianne, looks pretty spring to me! I want one of these for my front yard!
Marianne, spring has so many colors! It is such a great time of the year. Mmmm...that smell:)
Marianne, the fragrance of the blossoms is in the air. Nice photo!
Mary: You gave me a giggle. Thanks.
Cooper:I think the bush is a lavender bush.
Patricia: They are fun, too bad the flowers don't last longer.
Joanna:We are very fortunate this year...with all the rain we've had, the wildflowers are spectacular. Just amazing.
Michael:I love jasmine and lavender close to the windows so you can smell the fragrance even when in the house.
Great shot Marianne! Lilac bushes are one of my faves! They smell heavenly! I used to have a huge one in my backyard in Trinidad, and I put a little chair under there to sit, and "drink it in!".
Marianne, I was wondering if it was a lilac bush. Is that the same thing as a lavander bush? Now I knew it was not a crepe myrtle as I had never even seen such a thing until we moved to the south.
So those are lilacs? I have crepe myrtles that are that color that look quite a lot like these. They are blooming like crazy right now!
Oh my goodness! Thank you Marchel, it is a lilac bush...I said earlier that it was a lavendar bush! I stand corrected. I'm so sorry everyone.
Cheryl: That sounds like so much fun.
Ann: Yup, I guess they are. Cooper also thought they might be crepe mrytle...I need to check out crepe mrytle.
