The Rockies are such a beautiful mountain range.......

I do not like the look of snow anymore.  At least until next winter.  Brrrrr.

Very beautiful shot Marianne! But what time was it? Very early we suspect!

Have a wonderful day

Marianne - Very beautiful!  I am looking forward to visiting the Estes Park area later this summer for a family function.  All the best.

Mark: They are beautiful, but there's no such thing as spring. Only winter and summer. Oh, a little bit of fall, too.

Tony: I'm with you! Nice thing about our area is that the snow melts between storms, instead of standing until spring or summer.

Al and Peggy: It was actually taken in the late morning. The shot is looking into the east across Grand Lake.

Kenneth: You'll have a great time! Be sure to travel thru the park to Grand Lake. That's where this photo was taken. Looking east over Grand Lake. The town is very quaint, with lots of shops, restaurants, and mountain folks.

What a great shot.  But, what is that white stuff?  I thought you said spring time!!!  Just kidding!!

Wow...looks like a winter scene!     After this very bizarre winter pattern, I'm crawling towards Spring.

June: I live in the Rockies. They shut the freekin' freeway down yesterday! Spring? This is spring in the Rockies. You know that season with a lot of rain? We don't have it here. Just snow.

Sea to Sky: I've got 24" on my deck. I had nothing on it on Friday afternoon! I'm so over this snow.

Beautiful picture but it will be more beautiful to me next December.  I have seen enough of snow for a while!  :)

Hi Marianne: Just when I was starting to warm up (spring) your photo gave me the shivers!

This is Spring?  Wouldn't want to experience winter in the Rockies.  I'm sooooooo over the Winter weather and snow!

Jared: We don't get any snow in December! We get a big storm in October, just one. Maybe one in November, nothing in Dec, maybe some in Jan and Feb. But in March it begins in earnest. We get most of our snow in the Spring. Good thing, too, as we have to get moisture some way! I've seen snow in Colo Spgs as late as June! Very short summer.

Matt: I'm sorry. I can relate to that! Can you post a photo of what's going on in your neck of the woods?

Tom: Read my comment to Jared, above. Winter's great in Colo Spgs, it's the spring that'll bury you!

Marianne - I grew up in Ontario, Canada and that scene is very familiar. Don't worry, summer will arrive before you know it :-)
